Full Tune ($50)
A Full Tune includes our Hand Hot Waxing, Hand Beveled and Sharpened Side Edges and machine brushed and polished bases to give you a long lasting result.
*Excess rust removal by hand may incur in an additional labor fee of $5-10*

Hand Hot Wax ($30)
Our Hand Hot Wax service features the application of fresh hot wax, expertly done by hand using a hot waxing iron. This technique allows the heat to open the bases, enabling them to absorb the wax for the best and longest-lasting results, compared to a machine wax done by most other shops.

Hand Edge Sharpen ($30)
Our Hand Edge Sharpening service features meticulously beveled and sharpened side edges, all done by hand and finished with a diamond stone. This ensures optimal performance and long lasting results.

Join us at East Regiment for on-site hand-done ski and snowboard tuning! Bring your skis and snowboards and get them fully tuned up before the night's end. *Old ski movies will be shown from week to week for entertainment.*

After five years of dedicated effort in constructing my backyard ice rink, I encountered challenges with leaks when filling it. This experience inspired me to innovate by creating my own snow and designing a ski jump for an exciting and enjoyable skiing experience all in my backyard.
MY STORY
My name is Aidan Gates, and I’m a 16-year-old junior at Beverly High School. As a varsity soccer player and passionate skier, I’ve always loved being active in the outdoors. I grew up skiing at Mount Sunapee from the age of three, and my love for the sport has only deepened over the years.

I started hand-tuning skis during the 2022 season after realizing the value of a more personalized approach to equipment care. While many shops rely on machine waxing for speed and efficiency, it doesn’t quite match the quality and precision of hot hand waxing. The attention to detail I bring to each pair of skis and snowboards is what truly sets Altitude Tuning apart.
